A man pleaded guilty Uzbekistan will plan the assassination of U.S. President Barack Obama, said the New York Daily News.
Ulugbek Kodirov been held without bail since he was arrested at a motel in the state of Alabama in July last year, after buying the machine guns from an undercover federal agent.
22 year-old man entered the event an appeal for a hearing in federal court in Alabama on Friday.
Uzbekistan's lawyers told him he might avoid a life sentence by pleading guilty and now face charges of up to 15 years prison sentence, in May.
Kodirov accused of threatening to kill the President of the United States, have automatic weapons, and providing material support to terrorists.
Authorities said Kodirov are in the United States illegally after he obtained a student visa in 2009, but never enrolled in school.
Prosecutors say Kodirov make four separate threats against President Obama in the weeks before his arrest. (ANT)
